[ENGLISH BELOW] Vicino al centro storico della città di Sintra cittadina a pochi chilometri da Lisbona in Portogallo, possiamo trovare uno dei luoghi più misteriosi e enigmatici della regione, la Quinta da Regaleira.
Nel corso dei secoli la proprietà ha avuto diversi proprietari finché divenne di proprietà di António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro che successivamente intorno al 1904 iniziò a costruire il suo palazzo , sotto l'aiuto dell'architetto Luigi Manini.
La tenuta dal 1995 è poi diventata patrimonio dell’Unesco.
Nella tenuta si possono trovare statue, laghetti, grotte, labirinti, tempietti, etc. il tutto circondato da una folta vegetazione, un bosco e dei giardini.
Oltre che per la sua bellezza architettonica la tenuta è famosa per i suoi chiari riferimenti e simbologie legate alla Massoneria, ai Rosacroce , ai Templari e all'Alchimia.
Famosa anche per i due mistici pozzi a spirale che si sviluppano nel sottosuolo , queste strutture sarebbero legate a segreti rituali di iniziazione.
I due pozzi conosciuti come i "Pozzi iniziatici" , "Torri capovolte" o "Torri invertite" hanno l’architettura a chiocciola simile a una spirale che rappresenta il significato simbolico della morte e rinascita comune a molte tradizioni ermetiche.
Diverse sono le leggende legate a questa mistica tenuta e molteplici le simbologie esoteriche legate a questo magnifico luogo che ne scrivono la sua misteriosa storia.
