Rocky Valley

[ENGLISH BELOW] Rocky Valley è una piccola valle di Tintagel sita in Cornovaglia , Inghilterra, Regno Unito .

La valle è stata scolpita dal fiume Trevillet , all'interno della valle ci sono tre mulini ,fonte di energia grazie alla potenza naturale dell'acqua.

I mulini sono Trethevy, Trevillet  e Halgabron . 

Il Mulino di Trevillet è ora una residenza privata , il mulino Trethevy, è invece abbandonato e fu utilizzato nel XVIII secolo per fabbricare tessuti. 

Vicino al mulino Trethevy su una parete rocciosa è stata scolpita una coppia di misteriosi simboli labirintici, con linee circolari concentriche.

Questi petroglifi sono stati scoperti nel 1948 , portati poi all'attenzione di archeologi intorno al 1954 e si ritiene risalgano alla prima età del bronzo (1800-1400 a.C). Ci sono però ulteriori teorie sulla nascita di queste incisioni ,di cui una si pensa che le incisioni essendo molto profonde e non regolari siano realizzate con uno strumento in metallo e risalgano quindi all'età del ferro ,  nel periodo Celtico.  Altra teoria invece che queste incisioni siano molto più moderne di quanto si creda e siano state scolpite dai vecchi proprietari del mulino. 

Rimangono comunque ancora sotto l'attenzione di studiosi e archeologi, attuale  met di visitatori dei quali anche neo pagani che attribuiscono a questo luogo un energia particolare. La simbologia del labirinto è stata interpretata in diversi modi , si pensa che siano un simbolo celtico di fertilità oppure una specie di  rappresentazione dell'albero della vita.

Rocky Valley is a small Vintage Vintage Titalel, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The valley was carved by the Trevilit River, there are three mills in the valley, with the source of energy thanks to the natural water. The mills are Trethevy, Trevilit and Halgabron. Trevilit's mill is now a private residence, the Trewthevy mill, is abandoned and was used in the 18th century to fabricate fabrics. Close to the Trewthev mill, on a rocky wall, a couple of mysterious labyrinthy symbols was carved with concentric circular lines. These petroglifies were discovered in 1948, then taken to the acquaintance of around 1954 and is considered to be dated to the first bronze age (1800-1400 A.c). However, there are ador theories on the birth of these engravings, of which one is thought that the engravings being very deep and non-regular are made of a metal instrument and dates back to the age of iron, in the Celtic period. Other theory instead of these engravings are much more modern than you believe and have been carved by the old mill owners. However, they still remain under the attention of scholars and archaeologists, the present visitors of which even Neo Pagani who attributes to this place to a particular energy. The symbolism of the labyrinth was interpreted in several ways, it is thought that they are a celtic symbol of fertility or a kind of representation of the tree of life.
